It all started when Matthew levandoski came up with the idea in the gRUMPY GOLDEN OFFICE.
Matthew was originally set to direct Shoot The burrito but due to time constraints, he had to pass on the project. He allowed Byron Jordan Wolter to take over and write and direct the film. Shoot The Burrito was shot over the span of three months in the summer of 2016. The reason it took so long for a short is simple, lead actor Ben agreed to lose 60lbs during production. The films five scenes were shot weeks apart to allow Ben the most time to be camera ready. Ben followed a strict diet, and worked out with his trainers both Byron and Kaleb Rich-Harris. Ben went from 295lbs to 234lbs during production of Shoot The Burrito and has kept the weight off since. It's truly Ben's journey that makes Shoot The Burrito a remarkable film.
